Construction of Houses

The Tropical Cyclone Ana in Malawi left so many families homeless and destitute. Many houses had fallen and washed away by the floods caused by the Tropical Cyclone Ana. The displaced people are living in tents in Matsukambiya village, T/A Ngabu in Chikwawa district. This is where the government gave them a place to settle. In total there are 321 families. However, these people have literally no financial capacity that they can construct better house worth of human accommodation apart from the tents and grass thatched huts they are living in.

It is from such a worrisome background that YCD and PATIMALAWI are currently construction 50 houses for 50 families whose houses were washed away by the floods. Even our support is not enough!
