Goat Project

This goat farming project is a mission/vision based project aimed at supporting needy students in Chikwawa and Nsanje districts in Malawi.
To this far, YCD with support from PATMalawi has 152 needy primary and secondary  school  students  it  is supporting in school in Malawi.
Now, as one way of making sure that no one of these children drops out of school due to lack of school needs, YCD and PATMalawi agreed to buy 100 goats to start goat farming project. At the farm we have 1 watchman and 2 shepherds.

It is envisioned that through this goat farming project YCD will be able to pay for the school fees, uniforms, pens for all the 152 children in school.. This goat farming project supports the vision YCD has of educating poor children in Malawi as a strategy towards poverty eradication in Malawi.
